About RedRiverKids


RedRiverKids.com is a directory of resources (both online and off) for Shreveport/Bossier City and Northwest Louisiana. We focus on fun things to see and do, web sites, businesses, etc. that are relevant to the children of our area and their parents. Red River Kids is different than a search engine. It is kind of like a huge reference library for kids, parents, and families. The directory is arranged by subjects that are important to families.

Who's responsible for RedRiverKids?

RedRiverKids.com was started by two families from Shreveport in February of 2006 who were looking for fun things to do with their kids. Our two families have four kids ranging from two years to five years old. We thought there were probably thousands of parents in the Shreveport/Bossier City area just like us, so we decided to share what we have found and make a place for children and their parents to find fun things to do.

How have we grown?

With the help of people just like you, Red River Kids has grown from a few ideas to an entire directory of fun things to do with your family.
