Dance lessons?  Where?  When?  Who?  With so many choices to choose from with dance studios, there are 10 key things to look for when picking a dance school to work with.  What you should be looking for is a dance studio that is run like a business! Just as in any other business, how committed the owner is to the studio business will determine how good or bad your experience will be. This becomes especially important in independent studios, which may lack the structure more commonly found in the franchised studio business. There are many independent dance studios that run a stellar operations, schools that are organized, structured and geared to teaching quality lessons. These studios usually incorporate the following 10 points into their business structure.
 
 
1. Regular business hours
2. Scheduled times for Private & Group lessons and Parties
3. A core resident staff
4. Accept Charge Cards
5. Have a written refund policy
6. Have a Receptionist
7. Have an on site Owner or Manager
8. Have a structured learning process for the beginner
9. Have a permanent, quality floor
10. Are registered with the Better Business Bureau /Chamber of Commerce.

These are just a few of the things to look for when choosing a dance studio. These ten points suggest the school is there to stay, and are seriously committed to running a successful business.
